Last year, Heart of Iowa Big Brothers Big Sisters was excited to launch a brand-new fundraiser: an Esports tournament we called Race For The Kids! As we grow our event to include other games this year, we realized the need for a rebrand. So, this year it has a new name...
GAMING FOR GOOD
~ August 7th and 8th, 2026 ~
As the Esports program grows at Marshalltown Community College and many of our Littles show a strong passion for gaming, we saw a unique opportunity to connect with our community in a fresh and meaningful way. By tapping into gaming culture and our Little's interests, we hope to strengthen community ties and inspire even more connection and support!
This year we will be playing Mario Kart 8 DX and Super Smash Bros.
By playing or donating, you become part of a team making a lasting impact in the lives of children ages 6 to 18.
